Kristaps Dārgais Ends Basketball Career with a Show in Grīziņkalns
Famous Latvian basketball player Kristaps Dārgais participated in his final event as an athlete on Tuesday – the "Kings of Air" show in Grīziņkalns. He stated that dunking taught him to first evaluate himself before judging others.

On Tuesday, the "Kings of Air" show took place in Grīziņkalns, marking the last event in the career of basketball player Kristaps Dārgais. Dārgais had a stellar double basketball career, excelling in dunking the ball into the basket. This skill helped him realize that on the basketball court, one must first critically evaluate oneself before judging teammates' performance. Dārgais, one of the most recognizable players in Latvia, became popular not only locally but also internationally through his dunks. Although his career has officially ended, his contribution to basketball and especially to the dunking culture in Latvia will be remembered.
