Kristaps Neretnieks Wins World Cup Event in Inčukalna with 'Quintair'
Latvia's leading show jumping rider Kristaps Neretnieks claimed victory at the Central European Zone World Cup event in Inčukalna on Sunday, topping the most prestigious course.
Kristaps Neretnieks, riding "Quintair", won the Central European Zone leg of the FEI World Cup in show jumping on Sunday in Inčukalna. The Latvian rider triumphed in the CSI2*-W Grand Prix course featuring 155 cm obstacles. He completed the course without penalties in 41.50 seconds.
Finnish rider Petra Heikinena on "Oechie-K" finished second, while Latvian debutant Anna Šellere on "Chadler" took third place.
Over three days, the event featured 121 riders and 174 horses from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, and Finland, competing in 18 different levels of courses. This marks the first time a World Cup event has been held in Inčukalna.
