The Cabinet of Ministers will not decide on Tuesday on the approval of Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs' government action plan, as some measures are not financially feasible within the current budget, according to the Finance Minister.

The upcoming Cabinet meeting on Tuesday will not include a decision on the government's action plan, as parts of the proposed measures cannot be financially implemented under the current budget. This was announced on Monday by Finance Minister Māris Kučinskis, a member of the "United List" party, following a coalition meeting.

Kučinskis stated that the existing budget does not allow for the realization of all initiatives outlined in the plan, prompting a postponement of the approval. Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs, also from the "United List," had submitted the action plan, but financial limitations require a reassessment of its feasibility.

During the coalition partners' meeting, no agreement was reached on the next steps for the plan, leaving the issue open until financial solutions are found. The minister did not specify which measures are particularly problematic but emphasized that funding cannot currently be secured.
