Kulbergs: ICT procurement moratorium to continue until single responsible person appointed

Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs (AS) announced at a press conference following the Information Society Council meeting that the moratorium on large information and communication technology (ICT) procurements will be extended until a single responsible person is appointed for the process. The decision aims to enhance transparency and efficiency in state ICT procurements. Kulbergs emphasized that the current system lacks clarity, and having one accountable individual will improve oversight.
