After today's coalition cooperation meeting, Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs (AS) denied allegations that his questions are targeted at non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Speaking to journalists, Kulbergs emphasized that he merely asks questions, not attacks organizations. He did not specify which questions were in question, but his statement comes amid discussions within the ruling coalition. The Prime Minister's comments follow public speculation about potential tensions between the government and the NGO sector. Kulbergs firmly rejected any notion that his actions are hostile towards NGOs, stating that asking questions is normal in a democratic dialogue.
