Heating tariffs to rise in Kuldīga, Jūrmala, Talsi, Saldus and surrounding areas
In July, four companies in Latvia increased heating tariffs, while three lowered them. Tariff hikes affect Kuldīga, Jūrmala, Talsi, Saldus and nearby areas, while Valmiera, Cēsis and Baloži see reductions.

According to the Public Utilities Commission (SPRK), four heating supply companies raised their tariffs in July, while three lowered them.
The tariff increases will impact residents in Kuldīga, Jūrmala, Talsi, Saldus and the surrounding areas. Consequently, households and businesses in these regions will face higher heating costs.
At the same time, three companies reduced tariffs in Valmiera, Cēsis and Baloži, bringing some relief to consumers in those towns.
The SPRK regularly monitors and publishes information on heating tariff changes to ensure transparency and keep consumers informed.
