State Police in Latvia are appealing to the public for help in locating a man who has been missing since late September from the Kuldīga municipality. Arkādijs Berševics, born in 1950, left his home in Ēdole around 11:30 a.m. on September 29, intending to cycle to the post office in nearby Alsunga.

Description

According to police, Berševics is about 170 centimeters tall, of thin build, with gray hair. A distinguishing feature is a scar on his lower lip. At the time he disappeared, he is believed to have been wearing a sand-colored jacket, dark trousers and dark footwear.

Authorities note that the man suffers from memory impairment, which could affect his ability to find his way or recognize familiar surroundings.

Travelling by bicycle

Berševics was riding a dark-colored, Soviet-era style men's bicycle, a detail that may help identify him from a distance.

State Police are urging anyone with information about his possible whereabouts to call 112 immediately.
