Kuldīga municipality also requests emergency situation in agriculture

The Kuldīga municipal council decided on Thursday to request that the government declare a state of emergency in agriculture within the municipality's administrative territory.

Under the decision, the emergency situation would be declared for a period of 12 months.

Kuldīga municipality thus joins other municipalities whose local governments have already submitted similar requests to the government, asking that the difficult situation in the agricultural sector be officially recognized as an emergency.
