Kurucs shines against former Valmiera player Stenonis, Steinbergs helps Murcia beat Barcelona
In Spain's ACB league, Latvian players Rodions Kurucs and Marcis Steinbergs both featured in wins for their clubs, while in the Adriatic League former Ventspils player Cameron Shelton helped Dubai to victory.

Baskonia overpowers Girona
In Spain's top-tier ACB basketball league, Vitoria-based club Baskonia, featuring Latvian national team forward Rodions Kurucs, cruised to a commanding 118:78 home win over Girona.
Kurucs was on court for just under 16 minutes, scoring 13 points on 2-of-2 free throws, 4-of-4 two-point shots and 1-of-2 three-point attempts. He also added a rebound and a steal, while committing two fouls. His tally made him the second-highest scorer on his team, behind Chris Duarte's 19 points. For Girona, Hasel Perez led all scorers with 15 points.
Girona's lineup also included former Valmiera player Dominiks Stenonis, who struggled in his six-and-a-half minutes on court, missing both of his three-point attempts and committing two turnovers.
Steinbergs contributes to win over Barcelona
Meanwhile, Marcis Steinbergs' club Murcia defeated Barcelona 100:94, with the decisive fourth quarter won 30:21 by the home side.
Steinbergs played 12:16 minutes, scoring three points - all from the free-throw line - and grabbing three rebounds. His only three-point attempt missed, and he also recorded one turnover and one foul. Murcia's top scorer was Jon Radebo with 16 points, while Kevin Punter added 18 for Barcelona.
Dubai wins in the Adriatic League
In the Adriatic League, Dubai claimed an 85:70 road win over Perspektiva Ilirija. Damien Mintz topped the scoring for Dubai with 20 points, while Edo Muric led the hosts with 15. Former Ventspils player Cameron Shelton contributed nine points, four rebounds and three assists for Dubai. Latvian national team player Davis Bertans was not included in Dubai's squad for the match.
