Kyaru Museum invites to play 20th-century yard games
On August 2, the Kyaru Carriage Museum will host an offline games festival featuring 20th-century yard games, workshops and a new exhibition. Entry is free, but registration is required for the table hockey session.
On August 2, the Kyaru Carriage Museum will host the Offline Games Festival, dedicated to 20th-century yard games. Visitors will have the chance to try those games, join several workshops and see a new exhibition.
The organisers say the festival has become an annual tradition that brings different generations together. Its aim is to let people enjoy their free time without gadgets — through play, conversation and positive emotions.
Special guests and activities
ERR sports journalist Igor Savelyev will give a table hockey workshop, followed by a group game that everyone can join. Arseny Trofimov will offer games and tasks related to the Chinese language and writing. Lyudmila Surzhikova will run a creative session where participants make collages and postcards.
While children play and attend workshops, parents can check out the new exhibition “Modern Cat”.

Participation in the festival is free. To take part in the table hockey workshop and the shared game, advance registration by email at karumuuseum@gmail.com is required.
