The Ministry of Agriculture (ZM) announced the completion of the modernization of the Rural Support Service (LAD) information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure. The project, carried out with support from the European Union (EU) Recovery Fund, cost €3.76 million, of which €3.1 million came from the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility.

The modernization established a secure and modern ICT environment, including an upgraded data center infrastructure, new data processing and storage equipment, and ensured interoperability between data centers and cloud services. Users now have access to a new self-service environment, simplifying system usage. Additionally, seven new systems and platforms were introduced as part of the project.

The goal of the project was to create a unified and efficient ICT system environment that improves resource utilization, enhances system security, and ensures stable digital services for citizens, agricultural entrepreneurs, and state institutions. The modernized environment enables safer data storage and processing, as well as faster and more stable service delivery, thereby strengthening the continuity of state information systems.

The Ministry stated that the project achieved its objectives and laid the foundation for further development of state information systems. The EU support in this project will help ensure secure and accessible digital services in the long term.
