Cupra vehicle leaves road, ends up on tram tracks in Riga's Latgales Street

On Saturday, July 25, at approximately 7:10 AM, the State Police received a report of a traffic accident in Riga's Latgales Street.

At the scene, it was determined that the driver of a Cupra vehicle, for reasons not yet established, had left the roadway and, after the collision, ended up on the tram tracks.

The driver sustained injuries and was taken to a medical facility. Police have initiated an administrative offense process and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
