Latvia Bans Two Pro-Russia Comedians from Entering the Country
Foreign Minister Baiba Braže has added Vladimir Moisejenko and Vladimir Daņiļec to the list of unwanted persons, banning them from entering Latvia indefinitely.

Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže (New Unity) has decided to add two pro-Russia comedians, Vladimir Moisejenko and Vladimir Daņiļec, to the country's list of unwanted persons (persona non grata), effectively banning them from entering Latvia indefinitely.
The decision was made under Article 61, Paragraph 2 of the Immigration Law, which authorizes the foreign minister to determine that a foreigner is an unwanted person. Braže announced the move on social media, stating it was a response to the performers' support for the aggressor state's policies.
According to publicly available information, the duo had planned a concert tour in Latvia this September under the title "Best of 30 Years!" Organizers had scheduled three performances in Riga, Daugavpils, and Rēzekne.
During the war years, Latvian foreign ministers have regularly added entertainment industry figures who demonstrate support for aggressor states to the unwanted persons list. This case continues that practice.
