The Latvian government will soon decide on a proposal to donate 23 vehicles to Ukraine. These cars were confiscated from drunk drivers and in other criminal proceedings and are intended for units of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.
The vehicles, manufactured between 2003 and 2018, will be handed over to the National Guard of Ukraine, as well as the military administrations of the Pryluky district in Chernihiv Oblast and Novovorontsovka in Kherson Oblast.
Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Latvia has regularly transferred confiscated vehicles to Ukraine. Final decisions on each shipment are made by the Cabinet of Ministers.
