Latvia will switch from summer time to winter time in the night to Sunday, 25 October, at 4:00 a.m. Clocks will be turned back by one hour. The Ministry of Economics (EM) announced the change.

The switch affects all residents of Latvia, since clocks that do not update automatically will need to be adjusted by hand. Because the time is being turned back, the night of 25 October will last one hour longer.

The announcement provided no further details on how the changeover will be carried out.
