Latvia to donate computers and vehicles to Ukraine

Latvia continues its support for Ukraine by donating computer equipment and vehicles. According to the Ministry of Interior, the Internal Security Bureau (ISB) received a request for assistance from the S.P. Korolev Zhytomyr Military Institute of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. In response, the ISB decided to transfer 39 "Tempest" computers and 40 monitors free of charge.

The equipment was purchased between 2016 and 2018 and is no longer needed for ISB functions, as new devices have been acquired. Thus, it will be put to good use in Ukraine.

Additionally, 21 state-owned vehicles will be delivered to Ukraine. The total value of these vehicles is estimated at 49,000 euros. The transportation will be handled by the non-governmental organizations "Agendum", "Entrepreneurs for Peace", and "Your Friends".

The recipients include units of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, units of the National Guard of Ukraine, the Military Administration of the Priluki District in Chernihiv Oblast, the Military Administration of Novovorontsovka in Kherson Oblast, the Sokilnyky Outpatient Clinic, and the Chernihiv City Council.
