Latvia faces shortage of roofers; queue for services is several years
The Latvian Roofers Association reports an increasing shortage of professional roofers, leading to a waiting list of several years for work orders.

Latvia is experiencing a growing shortage of qualified roofers, according to the Latvian Roofers Association. Despite the profession being well-paid and work being plentiful, young people are increasingly choosing not to pursue training as roofers.
As a result, clients now face a queue of several years for roofing services. The association highlights that the lack of new specialists is becoming critical and calls for measures to attract more youth to the trade.
