Latvian 3x3 Women's Basketball Team Fails to Reach World Series Quarterfinals
The Latvian 3x3 women's basketball team, seeded sixth, failed to advance to the quarterfinals of the World Series event in Singapore, finishing third in Group C.

The Latvian 3x3 women's national basketball team, competing in the World Series tournament in Singapore, did not qualify for the quarterfinals. The team, consisting of Ieva Korzāne, Paula Mauriņa, Digna Strautmane, and Karlīne Pilābere, ended the group stage in third place in Group C.
The Latvians began the group stage with a 14:18 loss to Chile. In that match, Strautmane led the scoring with seven points, Mauriņa added four, Pilābere two, and Korzāne one. In their second game, Latvia defeated Slovenia 14:13, with Pilābere scoring five points, Strautmane four, Mauriņa three, and Korzāne two.
All three teams in Group C finished with one win and one loss. The final standings were determined by total points scored: Slovenia topped the group with 34 points, Chile had 31, and Latvia collected 28 points, finishing third. Only the top two teams advanced to the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, in another group, Latvian player Miščenko, representing the team "Rapid" (seeded second), helped her squad secure two convincing victories. In Group B, "Rapid" beat Singapore 21:8 and the Czech Republic 21:8. Miščenko scored eight points in the first game and contributed two points and seven rebounds in the second. The quarterfinal matches are scheduled for Sunday.
