Latvian Rowers Finish U23 World Championships with Final Races
Elīna Freimane won the C final in women's singles, while Valters Sējāns and the double sculls crew of Patriks Strazds/Emīls Niks Donovs competed in D finals.

Latvian rowers completed their campaign at the U23 World Championships in Duisburg on Saturday, with several podium finishes in the lower finals.
In the women's single sculls C final, Elīna Freimane clocked 7:46.93 to beat all five opponents. Earlier in the week, she had placed fourth in her heat and missed the A final.
Valters Sējāns finished fourth in the men's single sculls D final, recording 7:21.88, which placed him 22nd overall. He had been last in his preliminary race.
In the men's double sculls, Patriks Strazds and Emīls Niks Donovs took second in the D final with a time of 6:29.71, just 0.33 seconds behind the American winners. They finished 20th overall. Before that, they were third in their heat.
The championships conclude on Sunday.
