Latvia Blacklists Two Pro-Russian Comedians Planning Concerts in the Country
Foreign Minister Baiba Braže has added two Russian comedians supporting the aggressor state to Latvia's blacklist and banned them from entering the country.

Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže (New Unity) has decided to include two comedians who support the aggressor state — Vladimir Moiseyenko and Vladimir Danilets — in the list of persona non grata, banning them from entering Latvia indefinitely.
Braže announced on social media that the decision was made in accordance with Section 61, Paragraph 2 of the Immigration Law, which stipulates that the foreign minister decides on the inclusion of a foreigner in the list of undesirable persons.
According to publicly available information, both performers had planned a concert tour in Latvia this September under the program “The Best in 30 Years!”. The organizers had announced three concerts: in Riga, Daugavpils, and Rezekne.
During the war years, Latvian foreign ministers have regularly added various entertainment industry figures who have shown support for the policies of aggressor states to the list of unwanted persons.
