Latvia's power grid strengthened with €64 million investment

AS "Sadales tīkls", the Latvian electricity distribution operator, has announced investments totaling €64 million aimed at developing the country's power infrastructure. The funds are being used to increase the capacity of the distribution system, enhance the security and resilience of electricity supply, and create conditions for the expansion of renewable energy.

Increasing distribution capacity means that the grid will be able to handle a larger flow of electricity, potentially enabling more consumers and producers to connect.
