Latvian Fans at World Cup in US: Costs Lower Than Expected
Three Latvian football fans who traveled to the World Cup in the US have found that ticket prices and living expenses were more reasonable than initially anticipated.

The FIFA World Cup traditionally draws not only fans from participating nations but also a wide international audience. This time, three Latvians – Arnis, Andris, and Zane – shared their experience with LSM.lv.
Despite planning their trip relatively last-minute, they managed to purchase tickets to a World Cup match at affordable prices. Additionally, while staying in the US, they discovered that the cost of living on the ground is not as high as often portrayed in the media.
The fans noted that their initial concerns about excessively high expenses proved unfounded. Both accommodation and daily spending were reasonable, allowing them to enjoy the tournament without undue financial strain. This experience could encourage other Latvian football enthusiasts to attend similar international events in the future.
