Latvian football fans at World Cup in USA: Cheaper than expected
Three Latvian football fans – Arnis, Andris, and Zane – attended the World Cup in the USA and found that the trip was not as expensive as they thought.
The FIFA World Cup always attracts not only fans from the countries whose teams made it to the tournament, but also other football enthusiasts from around the world. Among them were three Latvians – Arnis, Andris, and Zane. They gave an interview to LSM.lv, sharing their experience. Despite planning the trip at the last moment, they managed to buy tickets to a World Cup match at a reasonable price. Moreover, they discovered that on-site expenses were not as high as previously reported. This example shows that even last-minute planning can pay off, and that actual costs can differ from common perceptions.
