Abols noted that the transfer is a significant step in his career and he is pleased to join one of Switzerland's top clubs. He also commented on the off-season events and the signing of the new contract, emphasizing that the decision was made together with his family.
Furthermore, Abols provided an update on his recovery from a leg injury sustained in January. He stated that the rehabilitation process is going well and he is ready to fully integrate into the training regimen of his new team. Bern will be Abols' next destination after several years playing in North America and Europe.
