Latvian speedway team misses World Cup final after third place in Riga semi-final
Latvia's national speedway team finished third in the World Cup semi-final held at the Bikernieki track in Riga, failing to advance to the final, which Denmark's team qualified for.

The Bikernieki track in Riga hosted a semi-final round of the Speedway World Cup, organized under the auspices of the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM). Latvia's national team took third place in the standings.
The third-place finish means the Latvian riders will not continue their campaign in this year's World Cup final. The Danish national team secured its spot in the final by winning the round, having claimed victory a day before Latvia's heat took place.
With this win, Denmark has booked its place in the World Cup final, while Latvia's involvement in this year's competition has come to an end.
