Latvian national hockey players to compete in 3x3 tournament in Riga
In mid-July, ice will be installed at the Riga arena, and this weekend it will host the Cup of Eight Nations 3x3 hockey tournament, featuring several Latvian national team players.

It's unusual for mid-July: the arena in Riga has ice, and over the upcoming weekend, several Latvian national team players will be seen on it. However, they will not play classic hockey but its variant – 3x3 hockey – as part of the Cup of Eight Nations tournament.
Players such as Tralmaks, Balinskis, Smirnov, and other heavyweights will participate. This is a notable event given that hockey games are not typically held in the middle of summer.
