Tonight, three Round of 16 matches of the Latvian Cup will take place, including a top-flight clash between Auda and Liepāja, and a meeting between Tukums 2000 and Super Nova.

This evening, July 11, three more Round of 16 matches of the LVBet Latvian Cup will be played. The central match will be held at Skonto Stadium, where Auda hosts Liepāja. The game will be broadcast on TV4 and the portal Sportacentrs.com. The other two matches – Tukums 2000 vs Super Nova and Riga Mariners vs Daugavpils – will be available on the Futbols.tv platform. All matches start at 18:00.
Auda, the current cup holder, sits third in the Virslīga with 40 points, while Liepāja is fourth with 28 points. The two teams have met twice this season, with Auda winning both times – 2:1 away and 3:1 at home. Liepāja began their European campaign on Thursday, beating Montenegro's Dečić 1:0 at home, but before that had lost four of five league matches. Auda, meanwhile, has only one win in their last six matches, with one draw and two losses.
In Tukums, two Virslīga clubs face off again: Tukums 2000 hosts Super Nova. On July 1, Tukums lost 1:2 at home to Super Nova. Currently, Tukums is in the relegation playoff zone, while Super Nova sits two places and seven points above. Tukums has won only one of their last eight matches, while Super Nova has six losses in eight games.
At Mežaparks, Riga Mariners – third in the 1. līga and unbeaten this season (10-4-0 including cup matches) – hosts Daugavpils, who are fifth in the Virslīga. Daugavpils recently beat Liepāja 3:1 at home. The Latvian Cup quarterfinals are scheduled for August 15–16.
