The film "Uļa" has officially begun its theatrical release in Latvia today. The work was created by director Viesturs Kairišs together with actor Kārlis Arnolds Avots.
Ahead of the wide release, the film was already shown in a closed screening to a limited circle of experts and journalists. This private screening allowed industry representatives and media to familiarize themselves with the work before it becomes available to general audiences.
According to the distribution schedule, the general public will be able to see the film in cinemas starting tomorrow. This means that following today's closed screening, the film will move from limited access to full theatrical distribution across Latvian cinemas.
The creation of "Uļa" brought together both directing and acting talent — Viesturs Kairišs is a well-known and experienced Latvian filmmaker, while Kārlis Arnolds Avots was involved in the project as an actor.
