Latvijas Pasts and eBay Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
Latvijas Pasts and eBay have agreed to cooperate to simplify cross-border deliveries and boost Latvian companies' exports in the digital environment.

Latvijas Pasts and the international e-commerce platform eBay have signed a memorandum aimed at facilitating cross-border shipments and stimulating export opportunities for Latvian businesses in the digital marketplace.
According to Girts Rudzitis, Chairman of the Board of Latvijas Pasts, cross-border e-commerce allows Latvian companies to test product demand internationally with relatively small investments and diversify their income. He emphasizes that Latvian entrepreneurs already have all the necessary prerequisites for export growth – digital skills, high-quality products, fast deliveries, and access to the European market.
Vidmay Naini, General Manager of Global Emerging Markets at eBay, notes that the Baltic region stands out for its strong entrepreneurial spirit and potential for global growth. He states that companies are ready to expand beyond their national borders and reach new customers worldwide. With access to 190 markets, eBay is pleased to help turn this potential into real growth, providing Baltic traders with opportunities for long-term success in international markets.
