Latvian cyclists Toms Skujiņš and Krists Neilands are set to compete in the 113th edition of the Tour de France. The race begins on Saturday, July 4, in Barcelona, Spain, and runs until July 26.

Skujiņš, riding for the Lidl-Trek team, will take part in the Tour for the eighth time. Neilands, representing the NSN squad, will make his sixth start. His best result is a fourth-place finish in a stage during the 2023 edition, while Skujiņš placed second in a stage in 2020.

The first three stages will be held in Spain. Stage 1 is a team time trial, returning to the Tour after several years. Stage 3 crosses the Pyrenees, followed by calmer stages. The only individual time trial is scheduled for stage 16. The final three stages take place in the Alps, with stage 20 featuring over 5,600 meters of elevation gain.

Last year's winner was Slovenian Tadej Pogačar. Neilands and Skujiņš finished 88th and 95th overall, respectively, in the 2024 edition.
