The Latvian women's beach volleyball team is competing in the CEV Nations Cup final tournament held in Germany. Group A features two Latvian duos: Tīna Graudiņa/Anastasija Samoilova and Līva Ēbere/Deniela Konstantinova. Their opponents include Czech Republic, Norway, and Italy.

In their second match, Ēbere/Konstantinova faced Norwegian pair Telle/Steinsvoga. The first set saw Konstantinova's serve lead to an 11:8 advantage, ending with an ace by Ēbere – 21:14. The second set was dominated by Latvians: Ēbere served two consecutive aces (2:1, 3:1), Konstantinova blocked (4:1), and Ēbere added another ace (14:8). Konstantinova later made it 18:11 and scored the final point – 21:12, securing a 2-0 set victory.

Earlier, Graudiņa/Samoilova had won against Czech duo, while Ēbere/Konstantinova lost their first match to Czech Republic. On July 17, both Latvian women's duos will face Italian teams.

The men's team, consisting of Mārtiņš Pļaviņš/Kristians Fokerots and Edgars Točs/Gustavs Auziņš, is also in Group A. So far, Točs/Auziņš won against Israel, while Pļaviņš/Fokerots lost. To reach the quarterfinals, Latvia must finish at least third in the group; first place guarantees a spot in the semifinals.
