Latvian athletes win nine medals at Nordic and Baltic Deaf Orienteering Championships

Latvian deaf orienteers claimed nine medals in Estonia, including multiple golds.

Last week, the Nordic and Baltic Deaf Orienteering Championships took place in Estonia, where Latvian athletes secured a total of nine medals. This was reported by the Latvian Deaf Sports Federation.

In the sprint event, Andis Krams won silver in the M60 category, while in the W50 category, Agita Intsone earned silver and Inguna Krama took bronze.

In the long distance, Krams won gold, Intsone added another silver, and Aldis Strožs collected bronze in the M50 category.

In the middle distance, Krams again won gold (M60), and Krama won gold in W50, with Intsone becoming silver medalist for the second time.

The championship featured 70 participants from 14 countries.
