Latvia U-18 basketball team loses to Spain, will face Slovenia in round of 16

The Latvian U-18 men's basketball team lost to Spain 87:92 in their last group game of the European U-18 Championship in Trento, and will play Slovenia in the round of 16 on Wednesday.

On Monday in Trento, the Latvian under-18 men's national basketball team played its final group stage match at the European U-18 Championship A Division. In a Group D contest, Latvia fell to Spain with a score of 87:92. Following this loss, Latvia advances to the knockout stage and will face Slovenia in the round of 16 on Wednesday, July 29. Slovenia finished second in Group C. The game will be held in Trento.
