Latvian U-20 Women's Basketball Team Beats Ukraine Again in Friendly
The Latvian U-20 women's basketball team defeated Ukraine 82:77 in Riga on Monday, securing their second win in two friendly matches.

The Latvian U-20 women's basketball team faced Ukraine in a second friendly match on Monday in Riga and emerged victorious again, winning 82:77 (22:16, 21:14, 17:27, 22:20).
Mila Luzgina led Latvia with 18 points. Kitija Muzikante recorded 15 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists, while Evelīna Otto contributed 14 points and seven rebounds. Anna Liepiņa added 12 points, five rebounds, and five assists. For Ukraine, Serafima Tiha scored 17 points.
On Sunday, Latvia had already beaten Ukraine 64:54. These matches were the final friendlies before the upcoming European Championship.
Earlier in their preparation, Latvia lost twice to Poland's U-20 team (60:64 and 74:76) and then played two home games against Lithuania, winning one (74:77 loss and 76:74 win). Further friendlies are planned against Spain.
The U-20 European Championship will take place in Klaipėda, Lithuania. Latvia is in Group B, where they will face Sweden on July 4, Germany on July 5, and Hungary on July 6.
