Latvian scientists investigate whether mosquitoes can carry West Nile virus

Latvian scientists are continuing their research into whether local mosquitoes can carry the West Nile fever virus. According to TV3 Ziņas, laboratory analyses have used mosquitoes that were collected last summer with the help of special traps. The researchers are trying to answer the question of whether these insects could transmit the virus in Latvia.
