LBTU Graduates About 700 Students This Week

Around 700 students are graduating from the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU) in June, including 54 international students; 22 female graduates will receive excellence diplomas.

The Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU) is holding a series of summer graduation ceremonies this week, during which about 700 students will receive their diplomas. All graduates have passed their exams and defended their final theses. Among them are 54 international students, and 22 female graduates who demonstrated outstanding academic performance will also receive excellence diplomas.

The first ceremonies took place on June 18, starting with the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, followed by the Faculty of Forest and Environmental Sciences, which includes programs in construction, wood processing, forestry, land management, water management, and other fields.

On June 19, ceremonies are scheduled for graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology, who studied catering and hotel management, agriculture, food science, and more.

On June 20, the Faculty of Economics and Social Development will hold its graduation ceremony. This faculty has 16 outstanding graduates: Anika Apine, Natālija Mauļina, Sanita Šreibere, Jana Gurska, Diāna Ķervesa, Jeļena Šaicāne, Anna Veļičkina, Samanta Vitkovska, Tatjana Hāne, Linda Vītoliņa, Maija Runce, Kate Beāte Baltiņa, Kristiāna Šteimane, Patrīcija Palčeja, Anastasija Zavadska, and Jekaterina Borodiča.

The graduation series will conclude on the same day with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
