Lebedevs and Nilsson Start Strong, Smederna Defeat Vastervik
Eskilstuna's Smederna, featuring Andžejs Ļebedevs, secured a convincing away victory over defending champions Vastervik 51:39 in the Swedish Speedway Bauhaus-Ligaen.

Andžejs Ļebedevs continued his fine form in the Swedish Bauhaus-Ligaen speedway championship. His team, Eskilstuna's Smederna, defeated the reigning champions Vastervik Speedway 51:39 away from home.
Unlike their previous match, Smederna's leaders Ļebedevs and Kim Nilsson started impressively from the very first heats. In heat 4, Ļebedevs paired with Daniel Henderson to win 4:2, giving the visitors their first lead at 13:11. The home team never managed to level the scores. Two heats later, Nilsson and Norwegian Mathias Pollestad also won 4:2, extending the lead to 20:16.
The decisive moment came in heat 10 when Ļebedevs and Joel Andersson secured a 5:1 win, making it 35:25. In the following heat, Maciej Janowski and Pollestad repeated the 5:1 result, bringing the score to 40:26 and effectively sealing the match.
