LeBron James Joins Philadelphia 76ers

LeBron James announced on Friday that he will join the Philadelphia 76ers. The 41-year-old forward stated that he believes he can help the team win an NBA championship.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, James has agreed to a two-year contract with the 76ers. At the end of June, James revealed he would not return to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he spent the last eight seasons.

Last season, James averaged 20.9 points, 7.2 assists, and 6.1 rebounds in 60 regular-season games. In 10 playoff games, he averaged 23.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 7.3 assists.

James is the NBA's all-time leading scorer, having played 23 seasons. He is a four-time NBA champion, four-time regular-season MVP, and four-time Finals MVP. He has been selected for the All-Star Game 22 times. Throughout his career, James has also played for the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers.
