Legendary British electronic music group The Prodigy performed on Wednesday, June 27, at the Wondersala venue on Andrejsala in Riga. This was the band's second concert in the Latvian capital since the death of longtime vocalist Keith Flint. Flint died by suicide on March 4, 2019, at the age of 49. The group has existed for 36 years and has performed worldwide. They have played in Latvia multiple times, but this was their second show in Riga without Flint. The Prodigy's first single "What Evil Lurks" was released in 1990, but they gained wider recognition with the track "Charly". Other popular songs include "Everybody in the Place", "One Love", "No Good (Start the Dance)", "Voodoo People", "Poison", "Firestarter", "Breathe". The concert featured band founder and songwriter Liam Howlett along with vocalist "Maxim". An additional element was a roaring airplane flying over from an international airshow at Spilve airfield. The concert also saw an incident where police detained a young man using physical force.
