Favorites return to win "Legends' Rogaining" in Mercendarbe

The popular "Legends' Rogaining" orienteering competition took place in Mercendarbe near Baldone on August 15, drawing more than five hundred fans of orienteering and active outdoor lifestyles. Participants could take part either in teams or individually.

Favorites reclaim the top spot

Victory went to Zigmunds Bibers and Alberts Jasans, who had sat out the previous round of the competition held in July. Returning to the starting list, the duo lived up to their status as favorites and secured first place.

Details of the event and its results were shared by Ivars Bacis, a representative of the organizers, who highlighted the event's growing popularity and rising number of participants.

The competition is held regularly, attracting both experienced orienteering athletes and people drawn to an active outdoor lifestyle.
