Latvian Puppet Theatre to premiere ‘Kūņoties’ for babies

The Latvian Puppet Theatre will open its new season with a special premiere. On 11 September, the theatre will stage the production “Kūņoties”, which will be the season’s first new show.
The performance has been created by Finnish director Anna Ivanova, who is of Russian origin. “Kūņoties” is designed for the youngest theatre-goers – children from six months of age. It is intended as a gentle and engaging first introduction to the world of theatre.
The production is tailored to the perception of very young children, offering them a safe and creative environment in which to experience the theatrical atmosphere. The premiere on 11 September will mark the start of the season with a special offering for the youngest audience.
