New Driving Range for Training Various Service Employees Opens in Lääne-Virumaa
A modern driving range has opened in Vääke-Maarja, Lääne-Virumaa, as part of a new training complex for the Internal Security Academy, aimed at preparing police, rescue, customs and other service personnel.

The first phase of construction of a new training center for the Internal Security Academy in Lääne-Virumaa has been completed. A modern driving range has opened in the village of Vääke-Maarja, which will become part of a larger training complex for preparing employees of various services, including police, rescue, customs and other agencies.
The construction of the driving range cost nearly 3.5 million euros. This is just one element of a large-scale project that plans to create 12 specialized zones. Total investments in the entire complex are planned at around 60 million euros.
Project manager Alo Tammsalu stated that the track includes various elements: a slippery surface usable year-round, water obstacles, S-shaped sections, and a small ramp. These simulate almost all possible road situations, including high-speed highway driving. The driving range will serve as a practical training ground for various service personnel to improve their driving skills in a safe and controlled environment.
