Estonian football club FC Levadia opened their UEFA Conference League campaign with a convincing 5-0 away win against Welsh side Carnarvon Town in the first leg of the first qualifying round. Rasmus Peetson opened the scoring in the 15th minute. The visitors added two more goals before halftime: Joao Pedro found the net in the 41st minute, and Mark Oliver Rosnupp scored in first-half stoppage time. Early in the second half, Mihkel Ainsalu made it 4-0. Carnarvon were reduced to ten men after Ben Nash received a red card, and Levadia were awarded a penalty in the 64th minute, but Maximilian Skvortsov missed the spot kick. Substitute forward Enock Otoo completed the scoring in the 79th minute to make it 5-0. Levadia now hold a comfortable lead ahead of the return leg, scheduled for July 16 in Tallinn. Should they advance, Levadia will face Swedish club IFK Göteborg in the next round. In other matches involving Estonian teams, Nõmme Kalju beat Northern Ireland's Linfield 1-0 at home, while Paide played to a 1-1 away draw against Lithuania's FC Hegelmann.
