LIAA to Host Webinar on Public Business Data and Supplier Assessment for Exporters

The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), together with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) in Latvia, is organizing an online informational seminar for exporting companies focused on what information about a business is publicly available and what clients and partners typically look for.

Organizers note that in the international business environment, partners increasingly request broader information about a company's operations, sustainability practices, and supply chain. Supplier assessment questionnaires and audits have become a routine part of cooperation processes.

Topics covered

Participants will learn what information about their company can be found in public data, what kinds of information and sustainability requests companies are increasingly receiving from clients, and how supplier assessments are conducted, including which platforms and tools are used. The seminar will also address how to prepare responses to client questionnaires, what to expect during a client-initiated audit, and how to streamline these processes so that each new request doesn't have to start from scratch.

Speakers and format

The seminar will be led by Ella Ancāne, a sustainability and ESG expert and entrepreneur, and Sanita Buklovska, head of the company Firmas.lv. The event will take place on October 19, 2026, at 10:00, via Zoom. Participation is free of charge, and the working language is Latvian. The seminar will be recorded and later made available in the "Materials" section of business.gov.lv.
