Big Day for Latvian Football: Sensational Auda and RFS Advance in Conference League
Three out of four Latvian teams have reached the third qualifying round of the Conference League, including surprising Auda which eliminated Romania's most decorated club FCSB. Only Liepaja failed, losing to Vienna's Austria.

This summer has been fantastic for Latvian football clubs in European competitions, especially in the UEFA Conference League. Three out of four Latvian teams have advanced to the third qualifying round of the tournament.
The biggest surprise came from Auda, which unexpectedly and stylishly knocked out Romania's most titled club, FCSB. This achievement has certainly caught many by surprise. RFS also continues its campaign, having secured a spot in the next round. Riga joins them as another Latvian club advancing.
The only failure was Liepaja, which could not overcome Vienna's Austria and was eliminated. Nevertheless, this season can be considered a triumph for Latvian football, as so many teams have reached this far, which hasn't happened in a long time.
