Mostly Dry Weather, but Cyclone and Rain Expected on Weekend
Thursday and Friday will be mostly dry in Latvia, with only isolated light rain, while the weekend will bring a cyclone, cloudier skies, and widespread precipitation.

According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, Thursday and Friday will be predominantly dry. On Thursday evening, isolated light rain may occur in some central regions, and on Friday afternoon, locally in Kurzeme. A light north wind will blow, and fog may form in some areas during the night and morning hours.
Nighttime temperatures will drop to +12…+18°C, while daytime highs will reach +23…+28°C, with coastal areas a few degrees cooler.
Over the weekend, a cyclone will approach Latvia, causing a drop in atmospheric pressure. On Saturday morning, a precipitation zone will start moving from the west – first bringing rain to western and central regions, then spreading to almost the entire country. Cumulonimbus clouds will develop, leading to possible thunderstorms. On Sunday, wind gusts along the coast will reach 15–16 m/s.
Temperatures on Saturday will still be +21…+26°C, but a cooler air mass will arrive on Sunday, keeping temperatures below +24°C. Early next week, daytime highs will be only +15…+20°C, with night lows around +12°C in some places. Rain is expected in most of the country, and gusty winds will persist in coastal and central areas.
