Lielbardis brothers in Madona: win first heat, retire in second, finish eighth
Latvian crew Daniels and Bruno Lielbardis won the first heat at the World Championship round in Madona, but retired in the second due to technical issues, ending the round in eighth place.

The ninth round of the FIM Sidecar Motocross World Championship took place in Madona, Latvia. The local crew of Daniels and Bruno Lielbardis showed a strong performance in the first heat, posting the fastest time. However, in the second heat they were forced to retire due to technical problems. As a result, the Lielbardis brothers finished only eighth overall in the standings for the round.
