Lielbārži sidecar crew to miss upcoming world championship round
Sidecarcross duo Daniels and Bruno Lielbārži will skip next week's world championship round in Germany after a virus that also kept them out of last weekend's Latvian championship stage. They currently sit sixth in the overall standings after ten rounds.

Latvian sidecarcross crew Daniels and Bruno Lielbārži will not take part in the upcoming world championship round, as they have not yet recovered from a viral illness. The same illness prevented them from competing in last weekend's Latvian championship round.
Season nearing its end
The final round of this season's world championship is scheduled for next week in Germany. A week after that, the Nations Cup in sidecarcross is set to take place, though it remains unclear whether the crew will have recovered by then.
Standings so far
After ten rounds of the world championship, Daniels and Bruno Lielbārži currently hold sixth place in the overall standings. Last season the duo finished fourth overall, while in 2024 — their first full season at this level — they became vice-champions.
