Man arrested on suspicion of murder after e-bike rider's death in Luton
A motorist has been arrested on suspicion of murder in Luton, England, after an e-bike rider died from injuries believed to have been caused by a vehicle collision. Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
Bedfordshire Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder following the death of an e-bike rider in Luton. Officers were called to Dallow Road at around 22:50 BST on Friday, where they found a man with serious injuries, believed to have been struck by a vehicle while riding his e-bike. He died a short time later.
The arrested man, who is in his 20s, remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
Police have appealed to witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

Detective Inspector Andrew Moralee described the incident as awful, saying it had sadly cost a man his life. He extended sympathy to the victim's friends and family, who he said had lost a loved one in dreadful circumstances.
Moralee also urged the public not to share footage of the incident on social media, asking instead that anyone with such recordings contact police directly, since it could form vital evidence in the ongoing investigation.
