Bus window in Liepāja possibly shot out with air gun

On Sunday evening, damage was discovered on a public transport bus in the Latvian city of Liepāja — the glass of a rear door was broken or otherwise damaged. The State Police Kurzeme regional department confirmed to the LETA news agency that the window may have been shot out with an air gun.

It is not yet known exactly what happened or who might be responsible for damaging the public bus. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.

The case involves Liepāja's public transport infrastructure, and incidents of this kind can create additional costs for the transport operator, as well as pose a safety risk to passengers if the damage occurred while people were on board.
